Focus of the Week: Canteen Orders

Our Focus of the Week this week will highlight Canteen Orders. Ordering lunch for your child from the canteen is easy, using the Canteen Portal on our website.

Follow these steps:

  • Online orders are to be completed by 8:30am.
  • Go to our website
  • Click on “Our sites…” which is at the top right-hand side. A drop-down menu will appear.
  • Click on “Canteen Orders”.
  • Enter your email address that is registered with the school, and password.
  • If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it by clicking “Set or Reset it here”.
  • Click the blue box “Sign in”.

From the Canteen Orders landing page:

  • Across the top will be the days of the current week. You can click the arrows to the right, beside “Fr”, to scroll through future weeks. Menu’s are added on the Friday of the prior week.
  • Below you will see tabs with the first name of your child/ren.
  • Click on the name of the child you wish to order lunch for, and their name will appear in a darker pink box.
  • Click the green “Add an Item” button.
  • Please note, is there is a red STOP sign beside "Lunch", this means the ordering option is closed for that day.
  • When you know what you want to order for your child, click the green “+Add” button.
  • You will automatically be directed to the landing page, and should see the lunch order and cost.
  • If you wish to add extra items, click the green “Add an Item” button. Repeat above process.
  • If you wish to delete an item you have ordered, click the orange “-Remove” button.
  • Click the green “Update” button to finalise. You will not receive an specific confirmation or email.
  • Once complete, you can click “Sign out” in the brown ribbon at the top.

To check financial balance for Canteen Orders:

  • Along the bottom of the screen is “My Balance”. This shows the current balance you have available for purchasing canteen orders.
  • To add more money to Canteen Orders, click “+Top-Up”. You will be transferred to the “Parent Portal”.
  • Click “Canteen Account Top-Up”.
  • Select Top-Up amount – either $10, $20 or specify different amount.
  • Click “Next”.
  • Enter your credit card details. Click “Pay Now”.
  • To return to canteen orders, click “Click here if you’d like to go (back) to Lunch Orders”.
  • Continue with Canteen Order process as above.

Primary students receive their lunch in their classroom, and Secondary students are to collect their order directly from the canteen at lunchtime.

In addition to ordering lunch via our website, children are able to bring money to school to purchase snacks and sweets directly from the canteen. We recommend children bring $10 or less to school for canteen purchases.
